Mr. DiBari has teaching and administrative experience in multiple high schools in two different counties. While working in Loudoun County Public Schools (2008-2016), Mr. DiBari taught, served as the AVID Site-Coordinator, PBIS Internal Head Coach, baseball/basketball coach, and the summer school Dean of Students at Park View High School (a Title 1, minority-majority high school). In 2015 he was promoted to serve an entirely different school community as an assistant principal at Loudoun Valley High School. In 2016, Mr. DiBari was hired as an assistant principal at Lake Braddock Secondary School where he has been a key leader and member of the administrative team for the last four and a half years.  During this time, Mr. DiBari has assumed principalship positions supporting FCPS Credit Recovery and Extended School Year programming during the summer months. These varied experiences have given him a robust instructional lens, experience in leading collaborative teams, and the ability to work with students of all backgrounds.

Mr. DiBari’s journey to the principalship is rooted in his desire to achieve equity, diversity, and inclusion for all. He is one of two FCPS administrators selected to serve in the University of Virginia’s Statewide Communities of Practice for Excellence (SCOPE), a leadership development program focused on equity. As a participant in this program, he is also a member of the Statewide K-12 Advisory Council. Additionally, Mr. DiBari (along with his administrative colleagues at Lake Braddock) is currently collaborating with the Director of Diversity at Old Dominion University to increase his individual and team’s collective cultural competence. During his tenure at Lake Braddock Secondary School, Mr. DiBari has supervised the special education (general and adaptive curriculum), math, and AVID departments. Mr. DiBari was also appointed to handle administrative services for Lake Braddock SS. In this role, he has managed all finance and human resources matters for the school. These unique administrative experiences make Mr. DiBari poised and well prepared to serve as the principal of Westfield High School.

Mr. DiBari is a high-energy, accessible, and visible leader. He has a warm, caring, and friendly approach that will be a tremendous asset as he transitions to this new role. Mr. DiBari prides himself on being an engaged leader who wants to support diversity and the rich history of programming that Westfield provides. His skill set, background, strong reputation, and desire to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders will serve him well in addressing student, staff, and community concerns.

Mr. DiBari is currently in a graduate program to earn his Doctor of Education degree at Old Dominion University. He holds two Master of Education degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Bridgewater College.
