Ms. Smith Recognized as FCPS CARES of the Month Recipient!

Congratulations to Ms. Jocelyn Smith on her recognition as the October 2024 FCPS CARES Region 5 Recipient of the Month, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.
The FCPS CARES Program allows parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story below so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees.

Ms. Jocelyn Smith of Westfield HS and Ms. Elaine Gonzalez of Chantilly HS collaborated to bring 22 exchange students from France to us. We loved hosting the students, learning from them, and showing them our lives. The school worked with a fantastic company to make this happen. The French students had activities planned every weekday and had an amazing time touring DC. For my child and family to experience this was phenomenal. The teachers went above and beyond to make this an excellent experience. I would highly recommend FCPS to continue sponsoring and working with the teachers to offer this program.
