Important Dates:

December 13, 2024 - Deadline for Name Verifications | Students have received communication via email, Schoology and through advisory, regarding Name Verifications for Diploma Ordering and the Graduation Program. We encourage families to log into ParentVue or StudentVue to review student names in sis to ensure accuracy.  Students should complete Name Verifications Google Form (fcpsschools.net login required) by the December 13th deadline.

December 20, 2024 - Deadline for SENIOR DUES is this month! | Please make sure you have paid these dues by December 20th.  Pay on MySchoolBucks under “Class of 2025”.  More information below. 

January 10, 2025 -  Cap and Gown Order at Westfield  | Josten’s will be at Westfield on Friday January 10, 2025 so Seniors can place their order during school hours for their cap and gown. This cost is covered by your Senior dues.  Make sure your dues are paid!

January 10, 2025 - Class of 2025 Spirit Night!! | Varsity Basketball Doubleheader vs. Oakton at Westfield.  The Class of 2025 Board will have a table from 5pm until 8pm at the game selling Class merchandise, yard signs and fundraising items.

March 1, 2025 - 100 days until Graduation! | A parent meeting will be scheduled in late February/early March - final details to come soon.

 

Senior Dues

  • Deadline is December 20, 2024!
  • All Seniors are required to pay $100 Senior Dues
  • Senior Dues cover expenses related to graduation: cap/gown, tassel, diploma & cover, seals, service tassel, senior breakfast and lunch for rehearsals, graduation day of expenses, and class gift
  • Failure to pay these dues could result in delays for graduation materials
  • Please pay them in MySchoolBucks - under “Class 2025 Senior Dues”
  • You can also bring cash or check to Subschool 4 
  • Checks should be made payable to Westfield High School
  • Paid your dues? Please come to SS4 or C216 with your MSB receipt for a FREE 2025 T-shirt! We still have some left - get yours now!

 

Finish Strong

  • Westfield will offer the Finish Strong program to qualifying students this Spring.  More information will be available at the 100 Day Senior Meeting.  Applications will open in the 3rd Quarter and Finish Strong will start in May 2025. 
  • Finish Strong is a senior program that allows students to do an internship, job shadow, community service or a service learning project.  Please start the conversation with your student about internships or job shadowing possibilities for this amazing opportunity.

 

Prom!

Our Class of 2025 Senior Prom date is set for Saturday May 3, 2025

  • Location: Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum! 
  • Many of our fundraising efforts will go towards making this a memorable event for ALL Seniors! 
  • Please reach out to Karen Bendorf @email if you would like to assist with this one-a-kind prom event. We are looking for opportunities to fundraise and especially for businesses who may want to make a financial contribution! 

 

Graduation!

  • Mark your calendars for GRADUATION on Monday June 9, 2025!
  • Graduation will be at George Mason University’s Eagle Bank Arena starting at 9:30am.
  • More details to come regarding this wonderful celebration!

 

Volunteers & Donations for Class of 2025 Senior Activities

  • We always welcome donations & parent volunteers throughout the year. If you are interested in helping with Senior activities please email the Class of 2025 sponsor Karen Bendorf
  • On November 25th we passed out over 1,000 snacks & Gratitude notes to Seniors who stopped by the lunch table for “Senior Snacks-giving”! Thank you for your donations and continued support.
  • In addition, four lucky Seniors who paid their dues were randomly selected and received a $25 gift card! Thank you to a generous parent volunteer for the gift cards! We would love to continue to do fun giveaways so if you have gift cards, event tickets, or other fun items we can “raffle off” each month we would greatly appreciate your donations. We can’t do this without your help!
  • We will continue Senior Celebrations in 2025

  • PTSA is offering Senior Yard Signs for sale - see below for more details
  • Yard signs and the mulch sale will be a few of our upcoming fundraisers for the class of 2025.  
  • Please let our PSTA President, Jim Neighbors ([email protected]), know if you are interested in becoming our All Night Grad Party coordinator or volunteer.

  • Yard signs sell for $20 and are 24” x 18” Full Color Single-Sided with an H-stake
  • Reserve yours TODAY by emailing Rich Lee at @email with “Senior Yard Sign” in the subject area. Please use your personal (not FCPS Student email) to order. 
  • There are about 50 Yard Signs left so please order soon! 
  • Payment will be collected when you pick up your sign through Rich Lee.  Pick up instructions will be sent after ordering.
