IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Student Services
  • All seniors are required to complete the FCPS Senior Survey prior to graduation. Finish Strong participants must complete the survey before leaving Westfield for their job/volunteer site. In addition to other important information, this is how Student Services knows what college to send the final transcript to. The survey will be completed at school.
  • Families still needing help completing or making corrections to the FAFSA should contact Laura Cudahy (@email). 
All Night Grad Party
  • All Night Grad Party – June 5th from midnight to 4:00am (the night of June 4th)
  • Dave and Busters at Fair Oaks Mall
  • Come celebrate with your classmates for a night of fun!
  • Tickets are $50 until May 1 through Shopify https://wfptsa.myshopify.com
  • Tickets include: Food and drinks, Events Step 2 power card ($25), unlimited video game play add-on, dancing, photo booth and prizes

Volunteers
Elementary and Middle School Senior Walks/Visits
  • Senior Walk Dates are below. Students have a Google form in their Schoology page that they should fill out to confirm their attendance.
  • Seniors - Please find a link to a Google form to sign up for the Senior Walks at our feeder elementary and middle schools. Please sign up if you plan to attend. More information below. 
  • These are optional events that are hosted by our feeder schools. They are not run by Westfield staff, but we want to help coordinate with the schools to let them know how many students are planning on attending these events. 
  • Dates and times are listed in the form. Again, these are optional. You will get your cap and gown (if all financial and other obligations are fulfilled) after graduation rehearsal on May 31st. We will have the Senior BBQ after that rehearsal. June 3rd there are no required events for all Seniors. 
  • You will need to provide your own transportation to these walks if you choose to go. We are not coordinating buses.

Senior Dues
  • This is a last call for Senior Dues. 
  • Senior Dues are $100 this year. 
  • Please pay them in MySchoolBucks. 
  • If you cannot for some reason, you can bring cash or check to Subschool 1. 
  • Checks should be made out to Westfield High School. 
  • Senior Dues cover the student’s cap/gown, tassel, diploma and diploma cover, seals, service tassel, senior breakfast and lunch for rehearsals, graduation day of expenses, and class gift. 
Tickets for Graduation
  • There are no tickets required for entry into graduation.
  • There is not a limit to how many guests a student may have attend the ceremony.
Graduation Information
  • Accessible Seating:
    • There is wheelchair accessible seating in each corner of the concourse (Portal 4, 8, 13 and 17). 
    • One person is allowed to sit with the person in the wheelchair area. 
    • It is first come, first served. 
  • Security Policies:
    • All guests are subject to search upon entry. 
    • Eagle Bank Arena is encouraging guests to not bring a bag with them to graduation. If you require a bag, there is now a clear bag policy:
      • Clear Bag:
  • Bag must be clear plastic, vinyl or PV with no obscured inside pockets.
  • Bag must not exceed 12” x 12” x 6” 
  • Bag may be 1-gallon plastic zip lock style bag. 
  • Clutch Style Bag or Purse:
  • Non-clear clutch style bag or purse must not exceed 5” x 7” 
  • Small medical or parenting bags:
  • Will be permitted on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to increased security screening. 
  • Parking: 
    • Parking is available in Lots A, L, and K based on availability. 
  • The arena doors will open 1 hour prior to the event.  
  • No Balloons, Noisemakers, Selfie Sticks/Tripods, Signs/Flags larger than 18” x 18” are allowed inside the area
Graduation Rehearsals
  • It is MANDATORY that you attend BOTH graduation rehearsals.
  • They will be held from 9:30-11:30 on May 30th and 31st in the gym. 
  • You will get your cap and gown on May 31st if you have paid your senior dues and have cleared all of your financial obligations. 
Service-Learning Hours
  • High school students are encouraged to document their service hours in x2VOL which is accessed through Naviance. 
  • For service hours to be properly recorded, designated school staff should approve pending service hours in x2VOL. 
  • Grade 12 students have their service learning data pulled from x2VOL and uploaded into SIS. 
  • The deadline to document service hours in x2VOL is April 28, 2024.
  • Class of 2024 seniors who complete 40 hours of Service Learning during grades 9-12 are eligible to wear a black Service Learning cord at graduation.
Finish Strong 
  • Finish Strong starts Monday, May 13 and continues through Tuesday, May 28. 
  • Mandatory Share Fair is Wednesday, May 29
  • Students are required to complete a Time Log 
  • Time Logs can be signed and printed or confirmed through the Google Doc 
  • Students need to be passing their core courses and be on track to graduate. Attendance and behavior will also continue to be monitored.
  • Required Senior Survey must be completed prior to Finish Strong start.
Yearbook Information
  • This is absolutely your LAST CHANCE to order a yearbook before next month’s distribution and the only way to GUARANTEE you get one! The Guardian is currently available for $75, but this offer expires in about two weeks on May 4th when the online order center closes. Go to www.yearbookordercenter.com, enter code 5577, click on Order a Yearbook and put in your information. If you’d like to pay in cash, please bring the exact amount to Mrs. Naeve in C109 during all lunch periods.
  • We’ve sold out the past two years, and there are a limited number of books available, so don’t miss out!
  • NOTE: There is a possibility, but no guarantee, there will be yearbooks for sale after distribution in May; however, the price will be higher, and payment will only be accepted in cash at that point.
