On March 30, the Spanish Honor Society hosted an event welcoming their pen pals from the London Towne Elementary School immersion program.  The 5th grade students had been writing to their high school counterparts in Spanish since the beginning of the school year.

After a welcome from Dr. Copeland, the students were taken to the lecture hall for some fun activities in Spanish.  Each activity was facilitated by a group of high school students.  After discovering who their pen pals were, students got an opportunity to eat lunch together and the elementary students were given a tour of their future high school.
