Student expression and the mastery of craft are two of the products of a solid Art Education. In the Westfield Pyramid we strive to form the whole child, balancing concept with content and identity with community. Last week, the Westfield Pyramid exhibited more than 800 pieces of artwork created by our Elementary, Middle and High School students on June 7th & 8th in the Gymnasium as Westfield High School. The Frenchman Food truck joined us at our Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony and the proceeds of food sales were put towards art student scholarships and programs.

Over 75 awards were given to students grades K-12 including Principals Awards, Faculty Awards, and Exhibiting Seniors Awards. Best in Show Exhibiting Seniors included:

  • Abigail Wiser for Photography

  • Joanne Ahn for Studio

  • Sam Alhussaini for Sculpture

  • Keegan Keane for Students’ Choice

  • Joanne Kwon for Best Show Space Overall

We would like to thank the Westfield Business Owners Association for their generous donation and Mr. Bill Thomasson who gifted scholarships in memory of his daughter and Westfield alumni, Taylor Thomasson.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate an awesome school year of creativity and fun!
