Hazel Vineet Portfolio
I started photography in elementary school, taking pictures with an iPhone. I then progressed to using my dad’s point and shoot camera and slowly progressed to a DSLR. My interest in photography grew rapidly, and when I entered high school, the class I was most excited for was photography. I got to learn how to develop film and to see beauty all around me, which resulted in me taking my camera everywhere I possibly could. I love taking pictures and seeing the world through a camera gives me a different perspective. Some of my favorite photographers are Jessica Kolbessi and Jordi Koalitic, as all of Kolbessi’s images have a story, and Koalitic’s photographs are taken with clever tricks to create scenes. When people see my photography, I want them to feel or realize something, whether it be a new perspective or something about the people in the photo.
